Qoku Honey was founded by Mr. Dalip Kjoku. Qoku bee hives are located at the slopes of Mount Korab, surrounded by the wild and diverse biosphere of the region. This particular area is mostly known for it’s geothermal springs. This combination of rampant nature and geothermal waters filed will a multitude of minerals is perfect for our bees to create the most unique honey possible. Qoku bees get to feed from the rich variety of plants in this area, varrying from pine to hazelnut – sage to clovers.
This is why our organic honey is so unique, sweet and most importantly organic. We have up to 260.000 bees working hard every day to produce the most delicious Qoku honey just for you.
We are certified to produce 100% organic honey! We believe in this process and the importance of our honey being pristine, healthy and nutritious. The essence from the untouched nature of the Dibra region, directly to your home; we make sure you get the best from the region where Qoku bees work and live. With yiearly yields of organic honey (up to 2.000 kilos a year), we make sure it’s being produced in the best possible way. Our honey production process at Qoku honey is done in the same traditional way we would produce honey for our own children and loved ones. The beehives where Qoku bees live are made by the owner, Mr. Dalip himself. This is the cornerstone which leads to the perfection of the production process.
From supplying the wood for the structure, carving and assembling of the hives, to the upkeep itself – everything is made and managed by the personal touch of Mr. Dalip Kjouku himself. This way we ensure that all the variables from the production process are according to Qoku standards. We even take care of the bees nutrition as well, we make sure the bees are always health and well feed, even when the natural conditions are extreme. This way you can always be sure to get the best quality honey!
